"But , I take to opportunity to ask about a shortcut in Fluxstudio , to get the Dynamic Rotate view , without clicking ...It was F12 in Spazz , can't find one for Flux , neither on their forum ....or their help"
This gave me a thought about an enhancement to the tool tips. Presently, they describe the function of the tool. Shortcuts (like F12 that works in Spazz but not in FluxStudio) could also be added to the tooltip text (when there is a shortcut available). This would allow users to find out about them and through repeated use maybe learn them.
Additionally, a listing of shortcut keys might be posted in http://wiki.mediamachines.com/index.php/CommandReference or some similar page to allow "ease of discovery" for powerusers that wish to use them.
The developers made the effort to add shortcuts and know what they are, but the users have to stumble across them or not know that they exist. I see it as a "missed opportunity" if the developers made the effort, but the users don't know about it. These hidden features need to be revealed.
if you look on the window (pane) context menu, available from a right click on the pane window title bar, ( also reproduced in its entirety on the view, active pane sub menu) you see their is an item to select dynamic rotate, with F8, written next to it, flux initially surprised me with its heavy use of context menu's like this. ( mesh editor context menu has 28 top level items.) but i got used to it very quickly, just look at the context menu as a first resort.
on a separate point, you actually need to hold in the F8 key, as you start a drag, to get a dynamic rotate, but for some reason this won't work on my laptop, when i use a double click on the touch pad to start a drag, even though this does work, when i use the same technique using the toolbar button.
Si: Thanks for pointing this out, it was there all the time (like Dorothy's little red slippers). I decided to capture them all for posterity. Maybe one of the developers can cut and paste this HTML into the Help for those that may look there for them instead of on the menus.
PS There are perhaps 2 error in the pull down menus; see NOTE on Zoom Out and Paste Appearance.

just had a thought, couldn't you have a sort of shortcut tooltip menu, havent seen this anywhere else before, but how it would work would be that a second or so after holding down the modifier, like CTRL, a tooltip box would appear with a list of the shortcuts available with that modifier, so in this case it would have all the possible keys that combine with the ctrl and their usage description.
